This exciting concert march follows the standard march form but has an unusual twist. Following a ‘dog fight’ middle section, in which players can ‘let rip’ with some aggressive playing, the trio used the well known melody ’Just A Closer Walk’ played in a popular syncopated New Orleans jazz style.
